About the Role

We're seeking a bright and driven junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic Strategic Operations team at Conscious Chemist. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth journey and contribute significantly to our success. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, and identify key growth opportunities within the sustainable beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Insights:
• Analyze business performance data (sales, marketing, customer behavior, etc.) to identify trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities.
• Develop and maintain insightful dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business progress.
• Business Process Improvement:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in the development of business cases and strategic plans to support key business decisions.
• Data Wrangling & Visualization:
• Interlink data from various sources, clean and prepare data for analysis.
• Proficient in using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to effectively communicate insights and findings to stakeholders.
• Ad-hoc Analysis & Support:
• Provide timely and accurate analysis and support to management on ad-hoc requests.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an analytical role within a fast-paced environment (e.g., tech startup, consulting).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data management, and Tableau. Excellent command of Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, pivot tables, and macros, along with expertise in data visualization tools.
• Basic understanding of Python/R or other scripting languages is a plus.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Communication & Collaboration:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
