Your goal as an IT Business Analyst - Consultant

As part of our international team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of airline technology. You’ll bridge the gap between IT and business, gathering requirements from various airline domains—flight booking, scheduling, pricing, check-in, and more. Working in a SAFe Agile environment, you’ll contribute to digital transformation projects that enhance the efficiency, profitability, and customer experience of global airlines.

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with airlines to understand their business needs and translate them into high-impact IT solutions.
• Analyze and optimize existing IT landscapes, identifying areas for innovation and efficiency improvements.
• Design digital transformation strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans to modernize airline operations.
• Work closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new systems.
• Define and document functional requirements, preparing specifications that bring aviation IT solutions to life.
• Support system testing (technical, UAT) to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Create compelling presentations and documentation for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive innovation by contributing to internal R&D initiatives and business development efforts.

What you bring to the team

• IT Expertise: 3-5 years of experience in IT, with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on practice.
• Project Experience: Proven track record in IT projects as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Release Manager.
• Aviation Knowledge: Strong understanding of airline distribution, particularly NDC and GDS platforms (Amadeus experience required).
• Industry Insight: Familiarity with digital economies and e-commerce trends.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to break down complex issues, create high-quality analyses and presentations, and communicate concisely in fluent business English.
• Soft Skills: Confident, persuasive, and assertive, with intercultural awareness and strong client management abilities.
• High Performance: Fast learner, able to manage high workloads and perform under pressure.
• Tech Stack: Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).

What will make you stand out

• Experience in data analysis, visualization, system implementation, or integration projects.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and experience in cloud development/migration projects.
• Certifications such as IREB or SCRUM (Product Owner, Scrum Master).
• German language skills.
