Business Analyst, Billing / Accounting Applications

Position Summary

We're seeking a Business Analyst to join our Client Accounting and Risk team, supporting applications related to billing transactions and risk management. This role serves as a crucial liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, focusing on day-to-day project advancement, functional workflows, data analysis, and requirements gathering.

Responsibilities

• Act as intermediary between technical resources (developers, vendors, IT) and business stakeholders
• Create workflows and perform data analysis
• Gather and document business requirements
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Develop functional/technical specifications, wireframe diagrams, and test plans
• Manage defect/bug fix processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Experience creating technical documentation and wireframes
• Background in accounting/finance applications or related business areas
• Knowledge of database administration or relational databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management and business process improvement experience
• Familiarity with current technology trends
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, and SDLC methodologies
• Law firm experience
• SQL knowledge
• InTapp Time experience highly desired
