About the Role

The Business Analyst will support various activities across education and student-focused projects, including process modelling, data analysis, reporting, and business requirements gathering.

We are looking for someone with strong business engagement and documentation experience, with a focus on delivering practical, sustainable solutions and identifying new ways of working.

In addition to the above, the Business Analyst will also:

  • Develop and deliver written and visual models of current and future-state business process using a variety of tools and techniques to engage business, process and system owners.
  • Independently apply a variety of strategies to gather, review, prioritise and analyse business processes and requirements.
  • Identify, define, track, and optimise intended and realised benefits and leading the development of business cases, initiation documents, change requests and reports.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will bring demonstrated experience in business analysis, with a proven ability to gather, review, and prioritise business requirements using a range of different approaches.

A strong background in stakeholder engagement and management will be required, with a proven ability to work with people from all levels of an organisation by being professional, adaptable, and reliable. You will demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions, take initiative, and proactively contribute to the identification and development of business recommendations.

To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate:

  • Visual communication evident through a demonstrated capacity to design and present clear and concise summaries of complex information.
  • Demonstrated ability applying a variety of strategies to gather, review, prioritise and analyse business requirements.
  • Experience in the identification and tracking of business benefits within a complex service environment.

    • Resilience demonstrated through a proven ability to adapt process, methods and requirements to meet strict and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
    • Experience operating in traditional and agile project teams across both business and technical subject matter experts.
