Summary

Job Description Description SAIC is seeking a Business Analyst to join our software development team supporting one of our esteemed government agency customers. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of software development processes. 100% Onsite 5 days a week. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives, pain points, and evolving user preferences. * Gather and refine software requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable user stories, including acceptance criteria. * Work closely with software developers, UI/UX designers, and testers to ensure the software requirements are properly understood and implemented. * Act as a liaison between business users, product owners, and technical teams to align expectations, priorities, and project goals. * Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. * Support the creation and maintenance of user guides, training materials, and system documentation to ensure end-users have up-to-date and clear instructions. * Continuously identify opportunities to enhance software development processes, tools, and technologies. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's degree and 5 years or more of related experience; (4 years' experience in lieu of degree). * Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret clearance requiring US Citizenship. * Hands on experience as an Agile Business Analyst. * Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence. * Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Strong understanding of Scrum concepts and methodologies. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Desired: * Basic understanding of API integrations, data mapping, or system migrations. * Experience with SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools is a plus.
