The Press has an outstanding opportunity for a

Business Administration Assistant.


This part time position (14 hours per week) is part of the Finance and Operations team.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Assist with payment requests: review invoices for procurement process standards; maintain supporting documents; submitting payment requests in Workday.
  • Royalties: assist with coding needed to generate royalty statements, assist with sending out statements annually. Help maintain and support payee data.
  • Assist with entering monthly accounting expenses in Quickbooks accrual system which coordinates with Workday expense data, each month.
  • Help maintain and/ or establish computer reports within the UW server files for business files- to assist with maintaining audit requirements and dept records management.
  • Prepare and/ or review travel/ non-travel expenses for reimbursement as needed for staff. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Two years of experience providing administrative support in the area of fiscal and/or business management or equivalent education/experience. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Workday Finance and Human Capital Management
  • Experience with Quickbooks
