What You'll Do
Assist customers with technical inquiries about installation techniques and troubleshooting issues
Provide expert guidance via phone, chat, and email on best practices for building product applications
Read and interpret installation guidelines, blueprints, and building code reports
Use your hands-on knowledge of power tools, fasteners, and construction methods to provide real-world solutions
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical resolutions
Work closely with sales and support teams to enhance customer experience and generate lead opportunities
Meet or exceed key performance metrics, including customer satisfaction and service efficiency
What We're Looking For
Hands-on experience with building products, carpentry, remodeling, or construction trades
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with proficiency using power tools (drills, miter saws, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools like Salesforce (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced contact center environment while maintaining high-quality service
Experience & Education Requirements
Previous experience in building products, construction, or a related field required
Customer service and/or sales experience preferred, especially in a contact center environment
High School Diploma or GED required
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Customer Experience Team Members will be based in our Keyser Avenue offices and will report to the Customer Experience Team Supervisor.
