The Carpenter is responsible for building structures to the blueprints

and job specifications while working with the project manager to oversee

staff and fulfill other duties and functions on the job site.\

Primary Tasks, Duties, And Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures via
  
  

use of carpenters hand tools and power tools.

• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, building plans and other
  
  

written directives.

• Establish reference points including layout of building lines.
• Verify trueness of structure and installations.
• Construct wood and metal framing
• Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, doorframes,
  
  

weather stripping, interior, and exterior trim, and finish hardware.

• Shape materials according to measurements and specifications.
• Unload and inventory materials from deliveries.
• Drive and operate personal and company vehicles
• Assist project manager in maintaining inventory, materials and
  
  

supplies.
