Building Automation Systems Estimator (Remote – US)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates
• Determine labor, material, subcontractor, and travel costs
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions
• Support proposal development and ensure pricing documentation is complete and competitive
• Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor bids, negotiating for the best terms
• Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements and expectations
• Assist in project handover, ensuring seamless execution

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of estimating experience in building automation or construction
• Strong knowledge of DDC, PLC, and SCADA systems
• Proficiency in estimating software, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and work independently in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field
• Experience in data center or mission-critical projects
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and building controls systems
