We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Direct Digital Controls Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems for HVAC equipment, including controllers, sensors, actuators, and other related components. Program and calibrate control systems to meet design specifications and ensure efficient operation. Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of DDC and HVAC systems to resolve issues promptly. Integrate DDC systems with other building automation systems (BAS) for seamless operation. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure system performance meets project requirements. Maintain accurate documentation, including system schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences. Provide training and support to clients and end-users on the operation of DDC systems. Stay current with industry standards, technology advancements, and regulatory compliance related to HVAC and control systems. Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree in HVAC, electronics, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC systems with a focus on Direct Digital Controls (DDC). Certifications: Johnson Controls, Tridium, Siemens, or Schneider Electric DDC equivalent certifications. Johnson Controls and Tridium preferred. Skills: Proficiency in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting DDC systems. Strong understanding of HVAC system design, operation, and control theory. Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.). Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license.
