Broker Administrator

Position Summary

The Broker Administrator plays a key role in fostering strong, productive relationships with Frontier broker partners. This position ensures fast and accurate communication between brokers, site contacts, and internal operations personnel. Proactively gather critical information from brokers or site contacts to ensure smooth startups and seamless transitions in service. When issues arise at customer sites, the coordinator will research solutions and communicate relevant updates to the appropriate personnel. If the issue cannot be resolved at the coordinator level, escalation to management or operations decision-makers will be required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for broker requests and concerns across all sites.
  • Manage communications through multiple platforms, including email, messaging apps, and Teams meetings, with brokers, site contacts, and internal teams.
  • Regularly follow up with Division personnel to ensure completion of critical tasks and actions.
  • Host and attend Teams meetings to discuss site-specific concerns and coordinate service operations.
  • Add new commercial and roll-off accounts into the system and manually bill the charges for the first month.
  • Create and update Work Orders (WOs) for any service changes, including billing adjustments and updates to operations for routing.
  • Generate WOs for various service types, such as deliveries, extra pickups, final removals, and missed pickups.
  • Open and close WOs in the business application software to ensure timely execution of services.
  • Send service-related WOs to operations for timely routing and implementation.
  • Research issues at customer sites, gathering necessary information to facilitate swift resolution.
  • Relay critical information about issues to the appropriate internal teams for quick action.
  • In cases where resolution is out of reach, escalate the issue to the appropriate decision-maker in operations or management.
  • Perform any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Broker Manager or operations team to support the company's objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams, brokers, and site contacts.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in data entry, billing, and work order management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with business application software and scheduling tools.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve service-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the trash industry in coordination, customer service, or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of high volume or tight deadlines.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to type on a keyboard and use a mouse for extended periods.
  • Sitting for long periods of time while performing job duties.
  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 20 pounds.
