The candidate should be a Graduate/Post graduate with around 10-12 years of relevant experience in managing a shipping agency branch/ container liner agency. The candidate must be result-oriented, mature, and have a pleasant disposition. He must be able to effectively manage people and external agencies.
Job Responsibilities
Organizing and controlling sales efforts to cover the local market extensively and intensively.
Identifying potential customers, creating and accepting challenges, leading a sales team.
Maintaining relations with Shippers/Intermediaries and leading corporates.
Optimizing revenue, market share, and maximizing liftings.
Organizing and controlling customer support processes to give all customers the feedback they require.
Managing overall port/ICD operations.
Coordinating with customs and rail operators.
Maintaining/updating & reviewing customer records in ERP systems.
