Mission
As an Appian Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on an exciting project called SBM (Smart Banking Manager). SBM is a crucial application that orchestrates orders (Product Ordering) related to the main business processes of the bank (e.g. card opening and maintenance, current account opening and maintenance, product bundles), keeps the customers' assets for further use in external applications and aims to be the main source of the bank's product catalogue.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that the Smart Banking Manager application operates at peak efficiency, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the bank's business processes
Responsibilities
- Understand and, if needed, challenge the requirements
- Develop processes, user interfaces and integration plugins using out of the box functionalities provided by our Appian platform
- Produce clean code and application configurations based on specifications
- Actively participate in code review, development shadowing, development detail design and agile ceremonies
- Contribute with the rest of the team to continuous improvements of the development process
- L3 support for live applications
Profile
Must Have Skills
- Previous experience in a technical consultant role or a programming role
- Minim 2 years hands on Appian platforms as a developer/consultant
- Middle level on database programming (preferably on cloud like Maria DB / PostgreSQL)
- Solid experience on integrations based on API, JMS, Kafka etc.
- Advanced English skills
- Eagerness to learn

- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to details and ability to organize work
Nice to have
- Prior experience with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, etc.
- Banking experience
- Experience with change management and defect tracking tools
- Knowledge of developing software using Agile methodologies
