Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and estimating, with the ability to assess vehicle damage accurately and provide detailed repair estimates. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure client satisfaction while managing the estimation process efficiently. Responsibilities Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed. Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for repair costs, including parts and labor. Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs. Collaborate with service technicians and mechanics to ensure all aspects of the repair process are understood. Utilize automotive estimating software to generate reports and documentation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, trends, and best practices in automotive repair. Handle cash transactions related to estimates and repairs as needed. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the estimation process. Working with insurance company, and their Estimator thought out vehicle repairs. Ordering parts for vehicle repairs. Qualifications Familiarity with auto estimating processes and software is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple estimates effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
