Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Type: FTE/Permanent

Position Summary

The BCBA will support individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Behavior Analysis, function analyses, assessments, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills development.

Essential Functions

  • Adhere to and support all policies and procedures, providing necessary training for staff and communicating expectations to families and service providers.
  • Follow all clinical policies and procedures and guidelines.
  • Communicate with the Program Manager regarding availability, experience, and concerns affecting service delivery.
  • Collaborate with families and service providers to enhance and integrate interventions, attending meetings as needed.
  • Complete assessments and develop reports within designated timelines, following clinical policies and templates.
  • Guide and supervise junior staff in their responsibilities with each client.
  • Attend scheduled meetings, either in person or online, and initiate communication if unable to attend.
  • Provide oversight for staff working directly with clients, ensuring compliance with guidelines and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of services in accordance with funder requirements, submitting within required timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable state, local, and federal laws and regulations, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education And Experience Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in a related field with Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA).
  • Providers of behavior analysis must have licensure or certification in active status at the time services are provided.

Skills And Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with families, professionals, and staff.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and proficiency in using a computer to access information and manage documentation.
  • Social skills to work collaboratively with families and service providers and provide effective training.

Must Have

  • Board Certification (BCBA).
  • Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including functional analyses, assessments, and behavior intervention procedures.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration and training staff.
  • Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated intervention strategies.
  • Experience in supervising and training staff in behavior intervention strategies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance, including confidentiality laws.
