Job Title: Blockchain Engineer
Location: Remote. Portugal ONLY.
Employment Type: Salaried Full-Time.
Salary: €5,000
- €6,416 per month
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and test developer tools.
- Implement secure and high-performance monitoring and testing practices.
- Build supporting tools like CLI clients, blockchain explorers, and debugging utilities.
- Collaborate on product features that integrate with the blockchain ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including shipping products.
- Hands-on experience with public blockchains, consensus protocols, distributed systems, or applied cryptography.
- Proficiency in Rust, including advanced features like lifetimes, concurrency, and unsafe code.
- Experience with production-grade blockchains and implementing cryptographic protocols.
- Strong skills in designing tests for complex, long-running projects.
Bonus Skills
- Experience testing distributed systems under faults, delays, and partitions.
- Knowledge of secure coding, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment.
- Familiarity with peer-to-peer systems, compilers, or static analysis.
