The Role

We are seeking a a junior/senior Bioinformatician with expertise in Molecular/Cell Biology to contribute to the development of the in-silico workflows for our cutting-edge single-cell assay products. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in bioinformatics to drive innovation and ensure the smooth operation of our data analysis pipelines. The ideal candidate is a reliable and organized individual with a strong background in bioinformatics, especially branches applied to single cell, transcriptomic, and genomic data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines for analyzing single-cell data.
• Collaborate with our scientific team to design and execute experiments, providing bioinformatics support across different projects.
• Manage and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights and support research objectives.
• Maintain and update bioinformatics tools and databases to ensure they meet the team's needs.
• Support operational needs by coordinating with external partners and managing project timelines.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by facilitating communication and participating in team meetings.
• Ensure data integrity and security, supporting the team in maintaining a productive work environment.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in bioinformatics, with a strong background in data analysis and pipeline development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
• Experience with single-cell RNA seq and genomic data is a plus.
• Experience with Machine Learning is a bonus.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to rigorous documentation.
• Ability to contribute independently and also inside a small team.
• Responsible and reliable, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to supporting the team's needs.
