Bindery Machine Operator Brainerd Range is currently looking to hire a Bindery Machine Operator to join our Brainerd production team. Job Summary: The Bindery Machine Operator is responsible for operating bindery equipment to produce printed products to customer specifications in a timely fashion to meet production schedules. Specific Job-Related Duties: •Operates one or more pieces of bindery equipment including, but not limited to, stitcher/trimmer, cutter, folder, collator, and shrink wrapper. •Learns and follows all job specifications called out on the job ticket. •Helps other team members set up bindery machines as needed. •Watches for quality issues on jobs as they operate the bindery machines. •Notifies teammates in other departments of any quality or specification issues discovered. •Transfers finished product to the next process in production. •Assists in off-loading and packaging product to shipping as needed. •Does their part in keeping the work area neat, clean, and organized. The successful candidate needs to be reliable, dedicated, and have strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will be on their feet for extended periods of time, moving about the production floor.
