Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. This position is ideal for someone with a strong billing or accounts receivable background who is eager to learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input invoices into systems such as Ariba and Open Invoice.
• Review and verify billing data for completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in billing documentation.
• Maintain organized records of all processed invoices for auditing purposes.
• Assist in reconciling accounts receivable and addressing outstanding balances.
• Adapt to new systems and processes with training provided by the team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Provide support for month-end and year-end closing activities as needed.
  
  
  

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in billing or accounts receivable roles.
• Proficiency in using billing systems such as Ariba or Open Invoice is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and resolve issues.
