OCD Institute | Texas is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Billing & Utilization Review Specialist to join our team. As a Billing & Utilization Review Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing care to individuals facing mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include insurance utilization review and management, working closely with patient insurance to ensure appropriate care, attending meetings, providing therapeutic interventions and support, billing insurance claims and follow up - Full Cycle Revenue, handling administrative duties as required, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Cycle Revenue - claims follow up and management
• Working with patient insurance to provide utilization review for patient care
• Assisting with milieu management
• Documentation of patient progress clearly and concisely as set out in OCDITx standards
• Developing and implementing plans
• Attending meetings as required
• Providing therapeutic interventions and support
• Administrative duties as warranted
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
• Performing other duties as assigned Requirements:
• LVN, LMSW, or LPC a plus
• Experience with utilization review
• 2 years of experience in nursing (mental health nursing required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
