Bilingual Client Care Representative (100% Remote anywhere in Canada)

We are looking to hire for enthusiastic customer service professionals with experience in healthcare (handling emergency calls, mental health assistance, or dealing with heightened customers) that have great problem solving skills, and a customer centric mindset.
This role serves as the first point of contact for Members that have access to Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) through their employer. An employee assistance program is an employee benefit program that assists employees with personal problems and/or work-related problems that may impact their job performance, health, mental and emotional well-being.
Duties
- Inbound calls supporting the Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) on the clinical side.
- Will be taking calls from members of the program looking for guidance on the different options they have (therapists, psychologists, etc.).
- Booking appointments for members calling in
- Taking crisis calls - members calling in maybe going through a mental health crisis, Agents need to be calm, collected, and able to take those types of calls
- Empathy is very important in this role as members calling in may be distressed, going through a tough time, or emotional.
- Agents must be fluent in French and English and must have great communication skills.
- Agents will be working with multiple screens and must be tech-savvy enough to multi task.
- Agents will be taking around 30-50 calls per day
- Previous experience in dealing with distressed or vulnerable clients in an Employee Assistance capacity.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (French and English - full working proficiency with speaking, reading & writing)
- 1-2 Years of recent Customer Service experience (fast-paced call center, Crisis calls, Emergency calls, 911 Dispatch, Mental Health services, Road-side assistance)
- Experience with MS Office, Internet browsers, etc.
- Internet Speed - 10 MBPS Up/ 15 MBPS Down (Screenshot required) - Need to be connected to a Modem
- Valid work permit in Canada for FTE
Duration: 4 month renewing contract
Standard Base Pay: $21/hr
Shift Premium
- 8 PM-11 PM: $23/hr
- Weekend: $23/hr
- Overnight: $24.30/hr (On a volunteer basis only)
Work Environment: Work From Home
Must have access to an Internet Modem to connect via ethernet
Availability required Monday - Sunday (5 days a week) --> 6:30 AM - 12 AM EST (8-hour shift)
Will know their schedule for the 4 months in advance but will not be able to choose which shift
Training is for 3 weeks and will be Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM EST
Expected Start Date: May 19, 2025
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
