In this role, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end bidding process—from identifying tender opportunities to submitting compliant, competitive proposals. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with tender submissions, GEM portal operations, and vendor assessment within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate the full lifecycle of tender submissions (both government and private sector), ensuring quality and compliance.
• Track, evaluate, and respond to tenders published on the GEM portal and other procurement platforms.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, finance, quality, and logistics) to gather and verify documentation and costing inputs.
• Oversee vendor registration and vendor assessment documentation with government agencies, PSUs, and large enterprises.
• Ensure timely and complete submission of technical and commercial bids.
• Maintain a bid tracker and database for submitted tenders, outcomes, and client feedback.
• Continuously review and improve bid content, templates, and win strategies.
• Build strong working relationships with procurement officers, consultants, and channel partners.
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
• 4–8 years of experience in bid/tender management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial equipment sectors.
• Hands-on experience with the GEM portal and government procurement systems.
• Familiarity with vendor assessment criteria, ISO documentation, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication, project management, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and tendering/ERP tools.
Nice to Have:
• Experience working with government tenders, PSUs, and defense contracts.
• Knowledge of manufacturing documentation such as product catalogs, drawings, test certificates, and inspection protocols.
