Job Description
Oversee the Data & Analytics program portfolio to support a more integrated, data-informed, and analytics-driven healthcare organization. Serve as a champion for enterprise data management, governance, quality, literacy, and business partner relationships to empower stakeholders with accessible and trusted data. Collaborate with technology teams and cross-functional business partners to evaluate data initiatives holistically and ensure proper prioritization of requests, adherence to governance practices, and delivery of robust analytics solutions. Evaluate analytics program effectiveness and communicate with senior leaders and data stakeholders across the organization.
Experience
* Experience with Agile planning tools (ex. Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Atlassian, etc.)
* Working knowledge of Data & Analytics best practices and principles such as data governance, feature development, data management, data delivery, quality, and literacy
Preferred Qualifications
* Project management experience supporting a Data and Analytics program
* Scrum/Agile Development methodology/DevOps experience
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

* Broad experience with generally known project management software
* Excellent verbal and writing skills for executive communications, proposals, and project reporting

* Ability to deliver a high level of customer service
* Experience creating common data definitions and metrics to create a shared understanding of data assets for data quality and literacy
* Experience developing and enforcing adherence to governance policies and best practices
* Strong understanding of databases and data structures
* Basic statistics concepts and analytics/engineering frameworks to shape analytics products (e.g., SQL, data pipeline, visualization tools, statistics, machine learning concepts)
* Experience communicating with senior leaders
Job Responsibilities
Portfolio and Program Management
* Work with stakeholders to ensure System and Data & Analytics program goals are properly defined, aligned, and shared.
* Evaluate data initiatives holistically ensuring proper prioritization of requests, adherence to governance practices, and delivery of robust analytics solutions.
* Provide thought leadership and participate in projects that involve any of the upstream and downstream data flows and processes.
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with cross-functional teams, including administrative and executive staff.
* Communicate clearly and directly about complex, technical topics across levels and teams.
* Assist in development, management, and collection of metrics associated with Data & Analytics product performance such as feature adoption rates, time-to-value, daily active users, and satisfaction scores.
Planning and Organizing Workflow
* Work with business partners and internal teams to develop, oversee, and manage the roadmap of Data & Analytics solutions.
* Utilize Agile planning tools to prioritize requests and manage work in progress across multiple teams to meet project deadlines.
* Manage workflow in a dynamic environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities.
* Help to prioritize conflicting business partner requests.
Supporting Governance and Data Literacy Initiatives
* Assist in development and support of program and data governance processes to facilitate effective participation and engagement for all stakeholders. (e.g., team structures, cadences/huddles/checkpoints, and guidelines on executing work)
* Assist in creating policies and procedures to ensure the appropriate understanding, use, and access to data assets.
* Data Governance: Organize and implement policies, procedures, structures, roles, and responsibilities that outline and enforce decision rights, accountabilities, and communication for the effective management of data assets.
* Data Literacy: Support and expand data literacy initiatives within the organization to empower business partners to use data effectively and accurately.
