Summary

Overview The Behavior Supervisor assumes a supportive role in the ongoing development and implementation of school wide behavior management program and policies; provides non-professional counseling to students; provides supervision to behavior team staff and other staff as indicated by program. Conducts regular meetings with the behavioral team to evaluate individual and team progress, issues and concerns, and communicates these as needed to administration. Prepares and conducts trainings and in-services specific to the behavioral skills needed for job duties and assignments. Works with program team and leadership to facilitate discussions of problem-solving and creation and implementation of individual student behavior plans. Supervises clients in activities in order to observe or effect changes in their social behavior. This is to include teaching rules and social manners in interpersonal relationships and supervising the child's personal care. Coordinates behavior plans with the strategies and interventions as developed by the related service staff. Provide crisis intervention to youth as needed. Stay current in Arrow endorsed trauma informed recovery models of care Maintain certification in program crisis intervention and trauma informed care models, and other evidence-based practices, as needed. Demonstrate expertise in trauma informed care for adolescents. Provide individual, direct coaching and supervision to direct care staff. Provides a consistent and reliable supportive presence in the program. Completes all assigned paperwork to accurately record student progress, including the crisis intervention documentation and behavior intervention documentation. Participates as an active member of the treatment team. Observes, evaluates and communicates all appropriate information, orally and in writing. May assist in safe and timely transition to and from transportation providers. Assists in the development and maintenance of a positive culture. Maintains proper rules, safety and security of students, providing crisis intervention when necessary. Attends trainings and meetings as required. Shares/transmits the mission and vision of Arrow Child & Family Ministries to staff and to students and families served. Review client files on a quarterly basis to access service plan implementation, progress towards desired outcomes, and future appropriateness of service plan. Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, Arrow policy, and accreditation standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and at least one (1) year experience working with populations served by program. BCBA and/or RBT certification preferred.
