Support individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve their goals by providing individualized support and assistance. Successful candidates will demonstrate honesty and respect while maintaining a positive attitude and professional work ethic.
The schedule will require some night and weekend availability. Hours vary by case
Responsibilities: The Behavior Specialist will write and train support staff on teaching protocols. Participate in the implementation of the individual's behavior support plans. Devise an integrated curriculum. Conduct field visits. Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking applicants to work in areas such as Napa and Solano counties and San Mateo.
Requirements
Qualifications:
B.A. in special education, psychology, social work or related field.
Strong Communication Skills
Experience in report writing
Experience working with challenging behavior in intellectual disabilities and mental health settings
Requirements:
Operable vehicle
CA Drivers License
Car Insurance
First Aid/CPR certification
Must pass a Live Scan
Must be able to physically assist, guide, and facilitate movement of clients that may need physical assistance (e.g., wheelchair transfer, walking, etc.)
