As the BBBEE Relationship Manager at BEE123, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance, resolving client issues, driving customer satisfaction and retention, whilst reaching cross-selling targets.
Success is measured in client satisfaction, retention, growth, and profitability.
1. Strategic Relationship Management:
- Build and keep strong, lasting relationships with key clients.
- Be the main contact person for clients and make sure they’re happy and supported.
- Grow your client accounts by spotting chances to:
- Offer them more of our services (upsell/cross-sell)
- Provide extra paid services
- Help create new business opportunities for our ESD and Skills teams by learning about each client’s transformation goals.
- Keep up to date with what’s happening in the industry, B-BBEE laws, and what our competitors are doing.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
2. Cross-selling:
• Identify and target potential cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create targeted cross-selling campaigns and promotions.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers to maximize their purchasing options.
• Track and report on cross-selling performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
3. Understanding the Market:
• Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the product management team for continuous improvement
of our solutions.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to inform strategic decisions
4. Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years client relationship management experience
- MDP advantageous
- Good understanding of B-BBEE and related rules.
- Excellent communication and people skills – someone who can build trust easily.
- A strong focus on clients and delivering great service.
- Good problem-solver who can think on their feet.
- Able to manage your own time and handle multiple clients at once.
- Comfortable using software platforms, especially if you’ve worked with SaaS tools before.
- Proven track record of hitting targets for keeping and growing client accounts.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or similar (a higher qualification is a plus).
- Willing and able to travel to meet clients when needed.
