Position Overview

As a Battery Test and Validation Engineer at Echandia Marine, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and analysis of testing activities for our advanced battery systems. You will play a critical role in validating the performance, reliability, and safety of our battery solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards for marine applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Battery Testing: Lead the planning and execution of advanced testing activities for battery systems, module and cells, ensuring high performance, reliability, and safety.
• Component Validation: Oversee the validation and functional testing of the electrical system and components, including battery management systems (BMS),
• Testing Protocol Development: Develop and implement comprehensive test protocols and procedures to verify system performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
• Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis, simulations, and reporting to assess and optimize battery system behavior, performance, and efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in battery testing, validation, or a closely related field within energy storage or electrical systems.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, executing, and analyzing test plans for cells, modules and battery systems.
• Strong knowledge of battery systems, BMS functionality, power electronics, and electrical safety standards.
• Hands-on experience in executing battery testing, validation procedures, and interpreting test data.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
