Role Description

We’re looking for a motivated and energetic Bar Manager to join our team at PB Shore Club. This is a full-time, on-site salary role responsible for overseeing daily bar operations, managing and mentoring bar staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and keeping our drink program sharp, fun, and efficient. Bartending shifts are not available.

You’ll play a key role in inventory management, scheduling, training, and creating a bar environment that’s both professional and enjoyable. You should be ready to collaborate with the management team on cocktail innovation, seasonal menu development, and ways to drive sales through events, promotions, and day-to-day excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience managing or supervising in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (inventory, scheduling, reporting)
• Creative with cocktail development and menu creation
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong leadership abilities
• Comfortable training and coaching staff
• Financially savvy – understands how to control costs, manage budgets, and analyze bar performance
• Energetic personality with a positive and team-focused attitude
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, and holidays
• Previous experience as a Lead Bartender or Bar Manager
• Passion for hospitality and an interest in growing into a Bar Manager role
