The Saw Building is the heartbeat of our company, driving the production process forward. As a Bandsaw & CNC Saw Operator, you’ll be at the core of our success, ensuring materials are cut accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC saws and bandsaw machines to cut materials for hydraulic cylinder components.
  • Ensure the accuracy and precision of cuts, adhering to specified measurements and requirements.
  • Perform deburring operations to meet quality standards for finished parts.
  • Use and interpret measurement tools such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and squares.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for precise material cuts.
  • Manage work tickets to ensure tasks are completed in accordance with production schedules.
  • Stay organized and maintain workflow efficiency by collaborating with the production team.
  • Operate a forklift to move materials as needed.
  • Run multiple saws (2-3 at a time) while remaining active and engaged – this is not a job for standing around.
  • Contribute to the team by helping out anywhere in the shop when needed.
  • Be willing to work extra hours when the team requires it.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC saw or bandsaw operator, with a strong understanding of automatic saw operations.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with deburring processes and quality control standards.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools like tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and squares.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable using computers for basic tasks and not afraid to learn new technologies.
  • Willingness to adapt, stay active, and tackle challenges head-on.

Schedule

  • Standard day shift: 8:00 a.m. – 430 p.m.
    • Monday to Friday
  • Current schedule includes 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, providing consistent hours with opportunities for overtime.
    • 6:00 a.m. to 4:30pm.
