Key Responsibilities:

✅ Manage, configure, and optimize backup and storage systems (NetApp, Dell EMC, Veritas, Veeam, Commvault, etc.).

✅ Perform data backup, recovery, and replication to ensure business continuity.

✅ Monitor storage and backup environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

✅ Implement storage provisioning, RAID configurations, and performance tuning.

✅ Develop and maintain backup policies, retention strategies, and disaster recovery plans.

✅ Work with cloud-based storage and backup solutions (AWS S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage).

✅ Automate backup and recovery processes using scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).

✅ Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

✅ Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and application teams to ensure seamless data availability.

✅ Provide technical support and troubleshooting for backup and storage-related incidents.

Required Skills & Experience:

✔ 4+ years of experience in Backup and Storage Administration.

✔ Expertise in storage solutions (NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, HPE, Hitachi, etc.).

✔ Experience with backup tools (Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, Commvault, IBM Spectrum Protect).

✔ Strong knowledge of SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel storage technologies.

✔ Hands-on experience with cloud storage and backup solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

✔ Proficiency in RAID, LUN management, and volume provisioning.

✔ Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.

✔ Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.

✔ Understanding of networking concepts related to storage (NFS, SMB, CIFS, etc.).

✔ Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
