About the Role - We are seeking a skilled and innovative Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our modern web application using C# microservices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, a deep understanding of microservices architecture, and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain C# microservices that power our web application.
• Collaborate with the product, design, and frontend teams to understand requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices and our internal coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers.
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs, and ensure they are secure, efficient, and easy to use.
• Work with DevOps CI/CD pipelines to deploy and monitor microservices and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and security of our systems, and stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the field.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience of minimum 5-8 years as a Backend Developer, preferably with C# and microservices.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, and experience with distributed systems, message queues, and data persistence.
• Proficient in C#, .NET Core, and related tools and frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, and knowledge of API design principles and best practices.
• Experience working with GIT, DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Test Automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, preferably Microsoft Azure), experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
