Glocomms are currently working with a Software Development company that are looking for a Back End Java Developer to join their team in Issy Les Molineux on a permanent basis. The role would require you to be on-site in the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end applications using Java.
• Implement Domain-Driven Design principles to create well-structured and modular codebases.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Back-End Java Developer.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
