Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that support our web applications and client solutions
Implement efficient database schemas and write optimized queries to handle complex data operations
Collaborate with Frontend Engineers to ensure seamless integration between client and server components
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following team standards and best practices
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Implement security best practices and protect sensitive data in accordance with industry standards
Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation for internal and external consumers
Troubleshoot and debug backend issues across different environments
Participate actively in Agile development processes and team meetings
Monitor and optimize application performance and database efficiency
Contribute to technical discussions and architectural planning sessions
Share knowledge with team members and participate in mentoring activities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Strong foundation in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js)
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Understanding of RESTful API design principles and implementation
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Basic knowledge of web security practices and data protection principles
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities
Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts
Demonstrated interest in technology innovation through projects or work experience
