We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Taguig, Philippines. The ideal candidate will be proficient in server-side programming and database management, ensuring seamless integration and performance of our applications.

What You'll Do

• Work with fellow engineers for code review
• Contribute to all stages of development including designing, coding, reviewing, and testing
• Collaborate with Lead Software Engineers, Testers, and SMEs to ensure product is delivered.
• Enhance, and improve coding practices.
• Ensure software engineering standards are in place such as unit test code coverage
• Documents system components.
• Create, and maintain product features
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Working experience with a variety of frameworks across domains:
• Mobile (e.g., Flutter)
• Backend (e.g., Node.js, Java, Spring Boot)
• Serverless architectures
• Proficient in programming languages: Java, Node, Dart, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Strong understanding of:
• Domain Driven Design (DDD)
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• SOLID design principles
• Design patterns
• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests
• Familiarity with building and managing CI/CD Pipelines (a plus)
• Knowledge of AWS Serverless (a plus)
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
• Proficient in integrating REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with Git flows and various branching strategies
• Experience coaching and mentoring other engineers
