Job Title: Backend Developer (PHP)

Location: Gulberg, Lahore

Experience Required: 3-4 years

Roles And Responsibilities

• Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks.
• Design robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients.
• Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
• Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
• Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing.
• Understand basic concepts of design for developing user-friendly applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in PHP development, with a strong understanding of PHP frameworks such as Laravel.
• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs, particularly for mobile and web applications.
• In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git, Sourcetree, etc.
• Knowledge of database management systems, particularly MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Understanding of Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Scrum methodologies.
