Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer with extensive experience in PostgreSQL, the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Node.js), and AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Node.js and Express.js

·      Develop and manage databases using PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance efficiency

·      Integrate AWS services to enhance application performance and scalability

·      Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

·      Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

·      Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications

·      Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

·      Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

·      5+ years of experience in backend development

·      Proficiency in Node.js and the MERN stack

·      Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization

·      Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.

·      Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation

·      Familiarity with version control systems like Git

·      Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·      Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Experience with microservices architecture

·      Knowledge of GraphQL

·      Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
