Job Description

At Datasite, we are looking for Backend Engineers, Integrations to join our team! The Integrations team focuses on connecting data in our system into 3rd party systems. They primarily own integrations with CRMs (Customer Relationship Management) Software such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Dealcloud as well as our External API product. Deepening these integrations and exposing new data points and functionality is a key driver to user adoption and drives enterprise sales.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work on average 1-2 days per week in our Heredia office, with the potential for schedule changes. We believe in fostering collaboration across our teams, blending the benefits of in-person interaction with the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Write high quality production code in Python.
• Work with 3rd Party APIs to integrate into our System.
• Coordinate closely with PMs and other engineers.
• Drive improvements to product quality, security, and performance that impact your team
• Optimize the runtime of our distributed system, including AWS services, databases, and our search engine. Your goal will be to achieve ambitious performance targets at all levels of our architecture, from the customer-facing API down to the lowest layer.
• Design and deploy scalable data infrastructure within a distributed event-driven architecture.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of experience writing production code in a distributed, event-driven architecture.
• 2+ years of experience working with 3rd party APIs.
• Experience working with NoSQL and SQL Databases (mongo DB, postgress)
• Experience with Python, Django and RabbitMQ
• Experience with AWS
