Backend C# Developer – E-Commerce Platform

We’re a fast-growing e-commerce product company based in Dublin city centre, building an AI-powered platform that automates and optimises the functionality of online stores for our global customer base. Our mission is to help businesses enhance performance, increase conversions, and streamline operations through cutting-edge automation.

Currently a close-knit team of 10, we’re on track to double in size by the end of 2025. As we expand, we’re looking for a skilled Backend C# Developer to join our agile product team and help drive the development of our core AI platform.

The Role

As a Backend C# Developer, you'll play a central role in shaping our backend systems. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop robust, scalable services that power our platform and enable AI-driven automation for e-commerce clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# using .NET Core
• Building and refining APIs and services that integrate seamlessly with our front-end systems and partner platforms
• Using AI-assisted coding tools to streamline development and reduce technical debt
• Working closely with designers, engineers, and product owners to deliver impactful, user-focused solutions
• Helping define the structure and evolution of our microservices architecture
• Taking part in regular technical reviews and contributing to system design discussions
• Keeping security, performance, and reliability top of mind throughout the development lifecycle
• Exploring emerging tools and practices, particularly around AI and automation—that can elevate our engineering standards

What We’re Looking For

• Solid commercial experience (4+ years) working with C# and .NET Core on backend systems
• A strong grasp of API design principles and distributed system architecture
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for building scalable, production-ready software
• Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or data-driven platforms is a definite plus, though not essential
