Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Node.js. Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience. Implement security and data protection measures. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Deploy applications in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment. Document all work performed, especially APIs according to company standards. Use test-driven development (TDD) methodologies to ensure code quality. Address and improve any technical issues. Collaborate closely with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in backend development with a strong grasp of Node.js. Proficient in JavaScript and understanding of asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6. Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git. Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 is a plus. Familiarity with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems and environments. Experience in implementing API services with RESTful services.
