We’re looking for a hands-on, technically strong Backend Team Lead who knows how to guide teams, design robust systems, and move fast without compromising on quality. Someone who brings structure, mentorship, and clarity to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems
• Manage and mentor a team of backend developers
• Drive the execution of feature development, from architecture to deployment
• Collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders to align backend work with business goals
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices are followed
• Take part in DevOps, infrastructure decisions, and automation improvements
• Promote a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience, including at least 2 years in a team lead role
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and experience with MongoDB or similar databases
• Solid understanding of backend system architecture, data modeling, and API design
• Experience working in fast-paced environments or startups
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes
• Experience with WebRTC or media systems (advantage)
• Excellent communication skills in English
