We're seeking a driven Software Engineer with DevOps skills to develop and maintain our cyber risk quantification applications within our private cloud environment. What You'll Do DevOps on Private Cloud (30%): Work with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), including network configuration for containerized applications. Improve deployment pipelines and automate development workflows, including resource provisioning and configuration within the private cloud. Manage our virtualization platforms such as vCenter and Proxmox. Backend Development (70%): Design, develop, and maintain efficient backend services using Python. Optimize database interactions and query performance. Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and security. What You'll Bring Technical Skills Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks). Good understanding of RESTful APIs. Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization.- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). Knowledge of virtualization platforms (vCenter, Proxmox or similar) Problem-Solving & Collaboration Proactive and takes ownership of projects from inception to completion.
