Whom are we looking for?

Wecare hiring an experienced Backend Developer to join our agile tech team. You’ll be responsible for building fast, secure, and scalable backend services for apps powered by analytics, cloud, and GenAI. You should be deeply familiar with RESTful APIs, databases, microservices, and working closely with front-end, UI/UX, and AI teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build robust backend systems (Node.js or Python preferred)

• Design scalable APIs to support web/mobile applications and GenAI-powered features

• Develop data pipelines and integrate third-party APIs (OpenAI, Firebase, Stripe, etc.)

• Work with DevOps to deploy applications using GCP or AWS (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)

• Ensure code quality, security, and performance optimization across services

• Collaborate cross-functionally with front-end, UI/UX, and AI engineers

• Document code, maintain version control, and lead backend release cycles

• Contribute to architectural decisions and performance reviews

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of strong hands-on experience in backend development

• Expertise in Node.js, Python (FastAPI, Django), or similar frameworks

• Strong with databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and experience with Redis

• Experience in deploying APIs in GCP, AWS, or Azure

• Strong knowledge of REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets

• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT)

• Bonus: Experience working on AI-based products, chatbots, or RAG pipelines
