Job Title: Backend Developer

Job Duration: 12 months contract with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Get to Know the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer on our Customer Support Platform, you will report to the Senior Software Engineering Manager and play a key role in developing core components for our AI-driven Customer Support platform. The user journeys crafted by our AI platform directly impact millions of users, providing you with a unique opportunity to work on features that enhance user trust and satisfaction.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform:

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to understand requirements and provide feedback, options, trade-offs, estimations, and timelines.
• Work with fellow Engineers to brainstorm and implement scalable and reliable technical solutions that address real problems.
• Write reusable, scalable, and testable code, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Take responsibility during on-call duty, developing and fixing production issues while assisting with ad hoc queries from other teams.
• Identify pain points and inefficiencies in the codebase and systems, proposing improvements and actionable solutions.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology
• 3+ years of back-end development experience.
• Working knowledge of the latest LLM models (GPT, Claude) and Agentic AI architecture.
• Strong foundation in computer science, including algorithms, time complexity, performance optimization, data structures, and system design.
• Proficiency in Go, Protocol Buffers, and gRPC.
• Experience with user behavior analysis, log and error collection, and analysis tools.
• Familiarity with various architectural approaches, caching, data storage, and security.
