About the role

As a Software Developer, you will actively participate in the whole process of product maintenance and new releases. Your onboarding program will be extensive, and your training will be ongoing during your time at the company. You will create revolutionary products and platforms for the sports industry with your team. As part of a team that works on web, iOS, and Android apps, you’ll be responsible for the backend part that services these apps and the website (Vue.JS). They are working on integrating a tracking device that allows athletes to measure their performance and race times. The new development is done in Java / springboot, while the .NET solution is being gradually phased out. That's why, besides your main knowledge of Java, an understanding of .NET (C#) is important.

Responsibilities

• Developing new products and maintaining existing products
• Code reviews and testing
• Cooperate with Hardware and Product Management teams
• Actively engaging in the Agile way of working
• Tested the company's products at live sports events.

What is required?

• Extensive experience with Java (SpringBoot is a plus)
• Experience with subjects like Web APIs, Multithreading, and Websocket
• Knowledgeable about .NET & C#
• Experience with Azure Cloud
• Passion for the latest technology (especially sports-related)
