We are looking for a Developer at MultiSafepay! Come and be part of a leading tech company driving innovation in the payments industry. You’ll get hands-on experience with industry giants like Visa and Mastercard, plus next-gen "pay after delivery" solutions such as Klarna and Afterpay. We apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and a microservices architecture to build scalable, maintainable systems. What will you be doing?

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services in Java and Perl, supporting payment processing, transaction routing, and settlement operations
• Integrating with third-party systems using APIs, message queues, or file-based interfaces
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to payment workflows, transaction failures, or performance bottlenecks in real-time systems
• Ensuring compliance with security standards (e.g., PCI DSS) and contribute to audit-readiness and data protection efforts
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to roll out new features, perform code reviews, and support production deployments

Job requirements

• Solid skills in either Java or Perl, with a willingness to grow in both
• Experience with backend systems development
• Familiarity with payment processing systems, transaction lifecycles, or integration with acquirers and financial institutions
• Understanding of security standards and compliance (e.g., PCI DSS)
• Proficient in debugging, performance tuning, and supporting production systems under tight SLAs
• Comfortable working with Linux/Unix environments, openness to learning and working with additional technologies, including Java
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication in cross-functional teams
