Backend Developer (Node.js | NestJS | Redis | AWS)

A leading digital-first retailer in the region is hiring a Backend Developer to join their high-performing tech team. This role is ideal for engineers who want to build scalable, event-driven systems that power real-world platforms used by thousands of customers.

You’ll work in a cross-functional squad alongside product managers, frontend engineers, and QAs to deliver new features and services — with performance, scalability, and clean architecture at the core.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Designing and developing scalable microservices using Node.js (NestJS)

• Building and integrating systems with Redis, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch

• Enhancing core platform features like search, checkout, and product management

• Deploying services on AWS and contributing to a robust CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins

• Following TDD principles and participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality code

Who We’re Looking For

• 3–6 years of hands-on backend experience (Node.js is a must, NestJS is a big plus)

• Proven experience building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

• Familiar with caching, queues, and cloud environments (Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS)

• Bonus points if you’ve worked with eCommerce search, Elasticsearch, or Golang

• Passionate about clean code, performance optimization, and continuous improvement
