Summary

A young and promising Startup Company in the field of Application Security (post successful funding round and with paying customers), is developing a cutting-edge platform for automating vulnerability management in software containers without disrupting development cycles.


The solution offers seamless integration, real-time analytics, and high scalability, helping organizations enhance security, streamline operations, and make better decisions


The company is based in Tel Aviv, within walking distance of a train station. They follow a hybrid work model with two work-from-home days per week. The team in Israel consists of 10 employees, and there’s also a U.S. office focused mainly on sales. Employees are offered stock options.



Responsibilities-

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Go.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to transform application storyboards and use cases into secure, functional applications.
  • Help ensure the optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications, emphasizing secure operation.
  • Identify and remediate software security vulnerabilities and bugs.
  • Develop and execute secure coding practices and standards, implementing test plans to ensure code and design quality.
  • Develop project plans and aid the delivery of critical, security-centric software projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web applications, programming languages, security, and the software industry.


Requirements-

  • 4 years of industry experience with at least 2 years working in Go
  • Proved experience with cloud native application on AWS/Azure or GCP
  • Experience with SQL and no-SQL databases
  • Experience developing containerized applications (ideally some kind of backend applications)
  • Experience designing and building complex backend platform/infrastructure
  • Interest in using Go as the primary development language. If you do know Go you should be comfortable using this Golang project layout.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effectively conveying complex technical and security concepts.
