For Consultancy and Freelance

We are looking for an experienced Azure Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in building scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, ensure availability, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

• You will design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for deployment and scaling, while integrating reliability into CI/CD pipelines and improving system performance and scalability.
• You will manage monitoring tools and proactively ensure system health, identifying and resolving issues before they impact users, and providing 24/7 on-call support for critical infrastructure.
• You will respond to and resolve incidents efficiently, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and implement preventative measures to maintain long-term system stability.
• You will develop and maintain internal tools that enhance reliability, streamline operational processes, and support the enforcement of security controls across all systems.
• You will conduct capacity planning, define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and ensure system resources and performance align with business needs.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to system documentation, and ensure best practices are followed in architecture, configuration, and governance.
  
  
  

You have the following skills

Qualifications

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps role, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and a proven track record managing scalable cloud infrastructure.
• You have strong scripting skills in Python, Azure CLI, or PowerShell, and hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Azure services including virtual machines, storage, networking, and hybrid cloud architectures, along with solid expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• You have experience using monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, Splunk, or Elastic Stack to ensure system visibility and performance.
• You have a solid understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPNs, subnets, NSGs, load balancing, and hub & spoke models, as well as Azure governance and cost management practices.
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• You have fluent English, an additional language proficiency in French or/and Dutch is a plus

• You have Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (preferred but not mandatory).
