Summary

Our technology services client is seeking multiple Azure Service Bus - Support Enginee to join their team on a contract basis. These positions offer a strong potential for conversion to full-time employment upon completion of the initial contract period. Below are further details about the role:


Role: Azure Service Bus - Support Engineer

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities: -


  • Represent Microsoft and communicate with corporate customers via telephone, written correspondence, or electronic service regarding technically complex escalated problems identified in Microsoft software products, and manage relationships with those customers.
  • Frequently, these problems will not only be technically complex, but will be politically charged situations requiring the highest level of customer skill.
  • Receive escalated, technically complex mission critical or politically hot customer issues, and maintain ownership of issue until resolved completely.
  • Be flexible to work in different shifts which would span across EMEA/India business hrs.
  • Use trace analysis, source code, and other sophisticated debugging tools to analyze problems and develop solutions to meet customer needs; may involve writing code.
  • Acquire & coordinate resources from other groups as needed to resolve customer issues.
  • Manage hot site issues by setting customer expectations, devising action plans, being available 24x7, and professionally communicating to all parties involved.
  • Share knowledge with other engineers and develop customer solutions efficiently.
  • Ability to report software bugs and supportability concerns along with customer suggestions to the product teams.
  • Assist with selection of new team members.
  • Empower Support engineers to do their best to help the customers.


Qualifications :-

  • The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of product support experience or the equivalent in work experience. Knowledge of IIS, ASP.NET and Web technologies along with the knowledge of Programming and debugging skills in Managed and Unmanaged space with the ability to read and analyze network traces is required.
  • Candidates must have strong customer service, accurate and logical problem solving, and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

  • Dot Net Framework
  • IIS & ASP.NET Web Technologies
  • Visual Studio
  • Windows Internal
  • Familiar with fundamentals of Cloud Computing and Windows Azure Technologies
  • Familiar with fundamentals of Windows Communication Foundation [WCF]
  • Familiar with fundamentals of Computer Network
  • Familiar with fundamentals of Windows Operating Systems like Memory management, Process,


Good to have technical skills:


  • Basic Understanding of Java, Node.js , Python, PHP, Ruby
  • Familiarity with WebAPI & REST
  • Familiarity with JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
  • Understanding of Open Web Interface for .NET (OWIN) and Katana
  • The ability to read and analyse network traces
  • Familiar with tools like WinDbg and tools from Sys internals
