Position Azure Migration Expert.

Designation - Consultant/Senior Consultant/Solutions Architect.

Experience - A minimum of 10 years of experience in an Assessment & Migration Consulting or an Architect position with a software and/or IT services company.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive Azure migration strategies aligned with the organization's business goals and technical requirements.
• Conduct assessments of existing IT infrastructure and applications to identify migration candidates and prioritize workloads for migration.
• Create detailed migration plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Ensure migration plans adhere to industry best practices and organizational standards.
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of cloud migration projects, ensuring timely & successful delivery.
• Manage migration scope, and timelines, and communicate status to stakeholders regularly.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud migration projects, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Provide consultation & expertise on migration tools, and methodologies.
• Oversee the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including executive leadership, IT teams, and business units.
• Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers.
• Define long term cloud strategy and mentor operations teams to implement the solutions.
• Understand customer's IT estate, LOB applications, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and cloud native solutions.
• Collaborate with network, security, AD, backup, tools and application architects and SMEs to develop enterprise grade solutions.
  
  

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Azure cloud architecture and migration strategies.
• Rich experience in migration projects and hand-on experience with Azure Migrate , CloudScape , Cloudamize , Doctor Migrate , and other ISV tools .
• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively.
• Resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
• Good Knowledge of Azure DevOps, IaC (Terraform/ARM Templates) & PowerShell scripting.
• Experience in Azure PaaS services and Containers is preferred is added advantage.
• Azure certification: AZ-305 and other Azure certificates are must.
